1 kg-omer (yes, it's Andrew's 2PD-omer)
Yes, I'm really excited about venturing into this new way of eating. Bought a good pair of kitchen scales from eBay for just $23 (AUD), and it weighs in both kgs and lbs. Has a feature that weighs the plate or whatever first before putting food on - so accuracy all round. Started the 1 kg-omer yesterday and was surprised at the amount I could eat. I'm just cutting down the size of my meals and not eating anything I don't normally eat - like going for a 1kg bar of chocolate! At present I weigh 124 lb (57 kg), but as I'm just 5"1', I'd like to lose 5kg (about 10 lb). Haven't got diabetes,
Made the decision
"FWIW, the 2PD-OMER Approach is essentially bariatric surgery without the surgery. It has worked everytime for everyone who has used it and without regain." In truth you are not the truth nor have the truth in you. This is pure scientific snake oil. The only way the two have something in common is that weight loss occurs with caloric restriction, one by using the device of volume control and the other weight. Any approach that restricts calories will work. Bottom line, the last statement is not true, in this very news group I read about someone rejecting the two pound diet because of neg

False teachings, was The Passion of Christ
When it was mentioned that three false doctrines were being taught we got the response: "Your bearing false withness against me is forgiven as far as I am concerned." If he now wants to turn away from the false doctrines then it can be said it was false witness. If he continues in the false doctrines then it is not. The measure as it has always been is the 2000 years of orthodox teaching on the topics of the false doctrines, it is not my opinions that matter. When using self reference alone lone ranger bible interpretation will almost always be false with out the correction of a communio
Anglican priest doing miracle cures
"Dave Oldridge" <doldridg@leavethisoutshaw.ca> wrote in message [quote:b03184ec1b]People who can work miracles are OFTEN attacked and sometimes killed by those who cannot. Like who for instance? Benny Hinman is rich from "preforming" miracle cures. Who has performed verifiable miracles? Who, what, when, where? Be specific. I actually know an Anglican priest who healed the sick at Thursday morning mass. And no, I won't be specific. In the past, when that has happened, both the healer and the healee have been beset by people like you, ATTACKING them. You are, in fact, living proof
Statin Adverse Effects
Those of us in the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) Statin Effects Study group, headed by Dr. Beatrice Golomb, are conducting a research study to learn more about the side effects and symptoms of cholesterol-lowering medications, including statins. Though statins are the best selling prescription drugs in the world, and have important benefits, there has been little attention to their adverse effects. Information provided by people who may have had adverse experiences on statins/cholesterol drugs will help us greatly to better understand these adverse effects - their character, imp
What was the funniest scene from "Passion Of The christ"?
Mine was the scourging/39 lashes scene. Watching those bloody bits of flesh fly off that fraud's carcass gives me a chubby every time.
false teaching, was The Passion of Christ
"Are you sure you're not just trying to stir up trouble by making a mountain out of a mole hill?" No, maintaining orthodox teaching is very important. From not doing so we get the mormans and the jehovah witnesses and the christian scientists and many many other groups. All were started by lone ranger interpreters of scripture using only themselves as a reference. "And just out of curiosity, what *do* the "communion of christians [sic]" (who I guess must have sent you here as their representative) think Jesus was teaching us with His cursing of the fig tree?" There can be many interpretat

Made the decision - redux
Andrew chung snipped a post to avoid the truth, which we can now correct, it will be a test of character and science: "> "FWIW, the 2PD-OMER Approach is essentially bariatric surgery without [quote:303361cc9a]the surgery. It has worked everytime for everyone who has used it and without regain." In truth you are not the truth [/quote:303361cc9a] - now adding back the snipped and scientifically relevant parts - nor have the truth in you. This is pure scientific snake oil.
