Questions about Wobenzym This isn't a plug, it's a real question. My CFS doc recommended that I take WOBENZYM (Woe-BEN-zime), a mixture of enzymes that the body needs but makes less of as we age. He's having me take it for its positive effect of bolstering Natural Killer Cell activity, but some store literature originally caught my eye because it's supposed to be good for FMS. There's also a raft of impressive (to me) information that starts on www.wobenzym.com and has links elsewhere, too. Is anyone here familiar with the product, and is/was taking it? I'm trying to determine a dosage, since there aren't
Magnesium - Why Do We Need It? I'm going to try to explain this one now, because it's another that many people hear of, but some don't understand WHY we need Magnesium. Magnesium ion is essential to all living cells. It's the third most plentiful element dissolved in seawater and the eighth most abundant element in the earth's crust. It's essential to the basic nucleic acid chemistry of life, and is thus essential to all cells of all living organisms. Inadequate magnesium levels frequently cause muscle spasms, and has been associated with osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, anxiety . . .
Att: Michael Baugh August 14, 2006 Michael, Its good to see you've not left AMF all together. I have tried to get caught up on reading your recent posts and I just wanted you and others to know that I have never had a problem with you and have enjoyed what you have shared regarding massage techniques in regards to fibromyalgia. I still have areas I can't stand to massage and or have massaged by anyone. I don't know if I told you this but my physical threapist found 18 out of 18. Ouch is all I have to say! I know that Fran, Margo and a few other AMF people have been fighting with you for several years and I chose not to get in

L-Carnitine - what is it? There's been some talk about L-carnitine recently, without much explanation about its benefits and such. Links have been included, but I've found many people don't GO to weblinks in newsgroup posts, unless the post really strikes their attention in some way. Many seem to prefer to just read the post and move on to the next. They don't have the energy or stamina to sit and read weblinks all day. So I thought I'd give a little info. about L-carnitine here in a post. I personally REALLY feel that a diet high in meat proteins is extremely important for those of us suffering from energy deple
| Newbie question: Is Fibro a progressive disease? When you finally realize/get dx'd that you have Fibro, does the syndrome pretty much remain at the same intensity (given flares and remissions)? Or does it grow more serious over time? Does the levels of pain and disability remain relatively the same, or do they get progressively worse? | I'm on the way to my wet, mouldy condo Yucky~~~~ I got a call this afternoon that informed us that our Florida condo has water problems. Unfortunately I have the condo checked only every two weeks. It seems that the air-conditioner (thirty something unit) "backed up" and I didn't even know it could move forward!! Anyhow, it created very watery conditioners in the closet and the bedroom. Well, you can just imagine my delight as I found out that without the air-conditioner/humidifier on... we have mold penetrating into the walls of the closet and at least one wall in the bedroom. I really wanted a new carpet ....... in the |
