| CFS. dental health and fluoride I have a dry mouth, although it doesn't seem so to me, but my dentist tells me that my dry mouth is contributing heavily to my poor dental health. A dry mouth encourages the breeding of damaging bacteria, and teeth and even artificial crowns will crack. I do have a general problem of my body not retaining enough liquids, as many CFS patients do, so it should be no surprise that my mouth is also dry. One of my dentist's recommendations was to make daily use of a fluoride rinse to counter the bad bacteria. However, I noticed when I first began using it that two hours after each rinse I w |

| Re. UWP & Diamonds Donna, Yes, I measure my energy units as diamonds on a scale of 1-10. It originated from the previous posts about the spoon theory (from youdontlooksick.com) and the marble theory (from the book It's All In My Head). I modified it to make it fun and work for me--I love gems and jewelry and when I think of energy--a white light encompassing all colors fits for me--so diamonds! | UWP Thanks Dina. It's such a relief to be feeling a bit better--the last 5-6 months have been pretty difficult for me. I get the Jarrow Whey Vanilla Flavor (due to Bobbie's recommendation) and I purchase it through Vitacost.com--it's the best price I've found on the internet). I didn't have much detox symtpoms with it--but I use the MIgun massage bed 2x a day and I went through a major detox for a week when I first started using it daily. The Migun keeps my system very detoxified. Bobbie suggested taking one tablespoon for about a week and then gradually adding more until you'r |
| Undenaturated Whey Protein I've been taking the UWP for several weeks now and this past week I have felt significantly better. I have been able to power walk every day. I know this illness is cyclical but I think the UWP is making a difference. I started out with one scoop in water one hour before any other food/medication but it was suggested to me to increase my protein intake so I have increased to two scoops. It really seems to help me stay more physically balanced too. Thank you Bobbie for all the info. on the UWP! In addition I started going to sleep one hour earlier (11:00 pm) and getting up an |
| Low cortisol, high DHEA Hi everyone, I just got the results of my salivary cortisol test back and it showed that I have quite low cortisol levels, but interestingly, high DHEA levels. I was just wondering if anyone knows why a person would have high DHEA. Does the body produce more to make up for the cortisol it lacks or does that not make sense? I just started a supplement given to me by my doctor called Adrenotone Plus, which contains, ginseng, ashwaganda, and a few others to support the adrenals. So far, I haven't felt a thing from taking it, but I suspect that it's going to take a long time to fee |
