| Low plattet questions Hello listmates, I have a puzzling question about low plattlet counts. I'm stage 4 colom cancer, debulking surgery done on 12/23/05 and have been on continuos chemo since January 06 every two weeks. I'm getting 5Fu, leucovorin, oxilaplatin and had avastin added about three months ago. For quite some time I've had some minor issues with low plattlets. On chemo week the chemo would knock them down to 70s-80s but by the next week they'd be back up to low 100s. I have been off chemo now for a month due to a minor surgery for an abcess so you'd think my numbers would be fine since I haven't had c |

Samantha King, a professor in the school of kinesiology and health studies at Queen's University in Kingston, investigated the use of the donations. King's research found that 64 per cent of donated money is funnelled into research projects. She told CBC News on Wednesday that corporate-sponsored breast cancer fundraising ha |
| Abraham Cherrix freed from court-ordered chemo-poison Through an agreement accepted by the court, Abraham Cherrix will be allowed to choose his own treatment under the care of a board certified radiologist who apparently supports alternative treatments. The court also wrote that Abraham's parents were NOT neglectful in their decision to allow their son to receive alternative treatments for his cancer. http://www.breitbart.com/news/2006/08/16/D8JHIU500.html |

| Cancer Immu vs Angio vs PD1 Cancer cells travel all over the body when the primary tumor is active, but do not attach. But once the primary tumor is removed, the remote cells ape inflamation and use it to enter another organ. The angiogenesis view is that the remote cells to not have the ability to get blood until after the primary tumor is removed. Now, is it possible the primary tumor actually causes an immune response which is effective against the remote cells, but for which the primary tumor actually has a defense (PD-1?) and when the primary tumor is removed, the remote cells feel free |
