What about aliens

Why would the US government cover it up?

I guess aliens would not only visit the US, in fact, I think they would rather avoid the US. So, that means several countries would try to cover up evidence.

If really aliens visit us, then I doubt they would be so stupid to come visit here again and again in a way their visits can be covered up.

The Aliens should land during day time in the garden of the white house and soon the whole world knows they are here to visit us.

I agree, but it's difficult or impossible to assess the situation from the alien perspective. many assumptions must be made...including that it is feasible for aliens to visit us in the first place. and if aliens had that technology, why in the heck would they visit earth? I suppose perhaps for the scenery and scientific purposes. but I doubt they'd get much out of our miserable race.

I imagine that hyperintelligent aliens would view earth as an interesting place, unfortunately dominated by a mildly interesting bacterial species called humans. I think they would regard man as a blight...an infection...at best a colony of ants.

what I had in mind was some sort of accident...for instance, maybe every decade or two an alien craft accidentally hits earth. perhaps the et version of christopher columbus, just dropping by to check out our planet, and they accidentally crash. and then the governments cover it up. of course, I can understand why the US, the chinese, and russia would cover it up...but what about a country like denmark?

in a sense, belief in aliens is like belief in God...you suspect it's out there, you can't imagine a universe without it, but you've just never seen it directly. or have you?

A lot of them work in landscaping crews.

People call them "aliens", but they look just like Mexicans to me. I can't tell them apart.

I suspect aliens out there, because there are billions of stars and planets, and if life could develop here, why not at other places?

But I don't suspect God(s) out there. Just like with crop circles, why an extraterrestrial explanation, while they can be created by earthlings?

Or maybe these aliens that visit us are God(s), or sent by God(s)? Sort of like angels.. aliens, angels.. coincidence it sounds almost the same?
