In case there is some sort of cultural gap going on here...allow me to explain that this sort of false bragging is a form of humor.

Maybe unique to Americans, I don't know...but the joke is that everyone understands that you are just false-bragging...telling tall tales...you know...whoppers...like that guy Files. (only he ain't joking, I guess).

actually, almost all human males have big penises...at least compared to other primates. gorillas only have two-inch penises, for instance.

I remind myself of that in moments of darkness.

I'm guessing it has something to do with the evolution of the female vagina and pelvis, which had to evolve in a direction which enabled them to handle birthing large craniums. presumably ancestral females preferred larger penises, although in cave man times there were probably a lot of rapes. at least that's the impression I got from watching 'clan of the cave bear'.
